Meet your ISQRMM conference organizers:


  LYNN MILLER MA, MT

Lynn Miller has been a “JILL” of all trades.  She has managed ISQRMM website, created schedule, coordinated performances and still has a smile on her face because she loves sharing this important work on the influence of music on our health and well-being.

Lynn is a Music therapist, sound healer, teacher and performer. She also likes the opportunity to share her expertise at the ISQRMM conferences.

 

DAVID AKOMBO Ph.D

Dr. Akombo is a co-founder of the Interdisciplinary Society for Quantitative Research in Music and Medicine. He is a mover and shaker in the world of Music and Medicine.

David always has a smile on his face! He is the “go-to” with conference coordination and coordinates the board, communicates with participants and creates the conference program.

 

STEVE JACOWICTZ Ph.D

We thank Dr. Jackowicz for coordinating to host the ISQRMM conference 2017 at the University of Bridgeport.  (We thank UB for printing our program and letting us utilize their campus. ) Steve is the coordinator for the ISQRMM journal.

Dr. Jacowictz is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Acupuncture at the Acupuncture Institute of the University of Bridgeport. His study of East Asia began as an undergraduate at Harvard University. He then went to Korea and studied East Asian medicine being the first foreign graduate of the Korea Modern School of Acupuncture. He then went on to study at the New England School of Acupuncture for his Master’s Degree. He became fascinated in the historical development of the East Asian Medical tradition and pursued his Ph.D. at Boston University exploring East Asian Medical History. His studies and research have also taken him to Japan and China. He is well published in East Asian Medicine, History, and Martial Arts.
