The purpose of the upcoming 2-day conference is to explore and share research, benefits and clinical applications of the “Power of Music” on the human body, mind and soul. This unique conference provides  research and methodologies from Music therapists, Sound Healers, Music Educators, Musicians and Chinese Medicine Practitioners.

Seminars * Research Posters *Experiential Workshops * and Performances * will include presentations on music and memory; music and the brain; music and pain; music and hospice; music and psychotherapy; music and neuroscience; music and well-being; music and healing; music and consciousness and music and Chinese Medicine.


Dr.cashDr. Alice Cash is a renowned musician with clinical experience using music as medicine. Dr. Cash’s specialties include presenting medical and clinical CEU seminars, working with anesthesiologists on the use of music for patients before, during and after surgery. For the past 43 years she has been teaching people from all walks of life to use music as a way to improve, energize and vitalize their lives. Her passion is the use of music as medicine and particularly the use of music for the patient in surgery. She has done medical research at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and worked as a clinician at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. Her keynote presentation will be, “Music in the Preoperative Period:  Research and Innovation.”
