Researchers in the 20th century embraced these studies with scholarly and academic vigor. The Purpose of the upcoming conference is to explore the unanswered questions regarding the efficacies of all forms of music on the human body, mind and soul. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Arthur Harvey, a renowned neuromusicologist, Professor emeritus at University of Hawaii, and Director of Music for Health Services.
